What this person does is gather survey info from you (for which their is a promise to pay in exchange), and re-sells it to a larger established survey site for a profit. These are not online survey scams, if indeed; you receive compensation for your survey info...But... Most online surfers looking for easy money, eventually focus on taking surveys on the Internet. They do this because there is little or no skill attached to survey taking and, besides, earning $$ just giving my opinion, seems reasonable. As a result, many folks sign-up with dozens of such survey sites in hopes of making an income. Mostly, two things happen as a result: First, lots of surveys are taken for which you are not paid, therefore wasting your time; and Second, you may receive a notice that for "only" $49.95, you can be placed on a preferred survey list which, will garner you attention from companies desiring your opinion because, "now, they know you are serious about taking their surveys." Guess what happens? You are now part of the many online survey scams! Most people find survey sites by doing the following. They go to their browser and type in " online surveys that pay dollars in U S," or variation of that. Dozens of sites pop up. Among these will be sites that report they screen out spammers "so you can be sure who is legitimate, here are the best ones." However, these sites may well be middlemen who are paid commissions by the survey sites for their referrals. They will share in the $49.95 (or whatever) preferred scam. All survey companies, yes, even legitimate ones; require you to fill out a time-consuming form. The scoop here is that filling out different company survey forms will take time. It also will be frustrating because each company asks for the same information, and, of course, no standardized form is ever used. Having said that, you also need to understand that there is no way that a person can make money by just signing up with one survey company. Why? You're only going to receive two, three or four surveys per week or two. This is because surveys are focused on a narrow set of guidelines, e.g.: retired persons, single mothers, females age 16 to 19, males who play high school basketball, etc. So, you need to sign up with several survey sites. What's the normal survey pay?" Most surveys pay $2 to $25 per 10 to 20 minute survey. This is proof that you're not going to make much money taking surveys. Online survey scams always promote big bucks for taking surveys. This is a clue!! 2. Spot those Online Survey Scams
